Operating Beam from a Virtual Machine (VM)
Utilization of the Beam Desktop App within a Virtual Machine (VM) is not supported.
Considerations
Although Beam does not offer support for VM implementation, some customers have found success in doing so. If you are attempting to run the Beam Desktop App from a VM, consider the following:
- Ensure all USB multimedia devices (camera, microphone, etc.) have direct access to the system hardware of the host.
- Verify that the Virtual Graphics Adapter meets all the requirements of the Beam Desktop App.
