Beam App Error - Mid-Session App Crash
If you experience Beam App crashing during a call, or your session is being placed on hold sporadically, your system is likely selecting the integrated graphics option for the Beam App rather than the discrete graphics card. Directing the Beam App to the dedicated graphics card typically corrects the problem.
Force the Beam App to use the High-Performance Processor:
- Open File Explorer.
- Under This PC, select Local Disk (C:).
- Click "Program Files (x86)".
- Open "Beam" folder.
- Click "bin".
- Right-click "beam" in the Applications list.
- Select "Run with graphics processor".
- Choose the High-Performance option available.
