Errors & Troubleshooting

Unable to reach server. Server hostname not found.

If you are receiving the error, "Unable to reach server. Server hostname not found." please consider the following potential causes:

  1. The pilot is not connected to a stable network
    - Check to ensure your computer is connected to a 5.0 WiFi network or connect using an Ethernet cable (recommended)

  2. The pilot is using a computer with an active VPN connection
    - Disconnect from the VPN and re-enter your login credentials
    - If a VPN connection is necessary, contact your IT/Network administrator to ensure necessary ports are open on the corporate network

    - If a proxy server is in use:
    1. Launch your Beam App
    2. Select Options > Network from the main menu
    3. For Proxy for HTTPS/XMPP; select "None" from the dropdown menu
